Here we share the answers to the common questions we get asked about our work and our WebFusion software. If, however, you can’t see an answer to a question you have please do get in touch with one of the team. We’d be happy to help.
Why should we choose Fusion Analytics in comparison to other agencies?
As a mid-sized consultancy, we are able to provide the personal touch of a freelancer, with the longevity and scalability of a larger consultancy. This means that we can scale our resource up and down to meet your needs.
Our team also has a wide range of expertise, often working where specialities cross over; for example combining market research marketing . As such we can cover a wide range of requirements from building or automating a simple report, to some advanced modelling and analytics.
How long would it take to start a project from the point of conversation?
We are typically quick to react to new briefs. If you have a tight timescale, we can often find quick interim solutions as a stop-gap. This can help while we work on the final solution in the background.
What is Webfusion’s competitive edge?
WebFusion was original designed for two purposes.
Firstly to answer questions like “if I send a Direct Marketing catalogue out, how many people come to my site and do not buy?”
Secondly, to give our team of data analysts and scientists access to raw digital data so that they can better understand sequences of online (and offline marketing/sales events).
Having worked with a large number of clients and partners, the scope and questions relating to digital data which organisations seek our help has grown significantly. We have over 100 use cases of the data we have run, however we try to package these into 4 areas for simplification; reporting, insight attribution and targeted marketing.
Would we get a single point of contact with our project?
Yes, projects are run with a central contact, with at least 1 other person involved in the account. This means that we can retain the business knowledge of any project, even if projects are put on hold.
What data security measures do you have in place?
We maintain our ISO27001 certificate, which is for data security.
All data is held within the UK within the scope of our ISMS.
How do you comply with GDPR?
For most consultancy projects we are able to work with anonymised data, this means that all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is removed and we can build out models or reports using user identifiers. Model scores can then be passed back to the client using the identifiers.
For database builds, we often are required to capture, store & process PII data, we adapt these requirements on a per client basis.
How does a typical analytical project work?
Typically we will provide a proposal with a full description of the works that we will do. These are generally done at a fixed price.
Depending on the size and type of the project, we will arrange delivery points or regular check ins to update you with how the project is going until completion.
